To qualify for the discount, customers must live in the UK, select standard UK delivery in the checkout as a delivery option, and complete an order whose sub-total is £41.67 ex VAT or more (i.e. a smidge over £50.00 inc VAT). Orders sent by free standard UK delivery are dispatched when all the items are available.

UK customers can still opt to pay for special delivery instead.

The Fighting 15s shop, however, now has the Collect at Salute option in the shopping cart, which allows orders to be made online and picked up at the show without the shopping cart adding a delivery charge. Fighting 15s puts this option in the shop early so we can get figures from abroad in time if they are required to complete an order. So, if you want figures that are obtained to special order for Salute, order them now, not a week before the show.

Please note that payment by card or PayPal is taken at the time of ordering. If you want to pay cash on the day, please choose the “pay by cheque” option; if you want to pay by card but have payment taken nearer the time of Salute, please use the telephone payment option and phone through your payment details. If the shopping cart is abandoned with the payment method incomplete, we will not order the figures.

As noted below, we cannot take orders for the new 1815 British from AB Figures for collection at Salute: these orders are handled through Eureka Miniatures. Orders for all other 15mm AB Figures should be directed through Fighting 15s.

A reminder that Fighting 15s cannot take card payments or cheques at Salute. All payments at the show to be made in cash sterling or, reception permitting, PayPal mobile only.

The figures will not be available until 21 April 2012, when they will be launched at Salute by Eureka Miniatures, which is taking a stand that should in theory be located next to Fighting 15s/Black Hat Miniatures. Fighting 15s itself will not take delivery of the figures until after the release date and cannot obtain them beforehand: if you want to get the figures at Salute, you will need to talk to Nic next door on the day.

Initial releases in the range will include British line infantry, British foot artillery, Belgian carabiniers, British light dragoons in shako, heavy dragoons in helmet, Household cavalry and Scots Greys, as well as a rocket troop. There will also be additions to the Highlanders to include firing and kneeling figures.

Although Fighting 15s cannot take orders for these figures at present, expressions of interest in the figures will help gauge the size of our initial shipment. So drop Ian a line.

All packs are £3.00 inc VAT, and typically contain 8 aircraft, 15 vehicles, 15 strips of 1:600 infantry or 6 15mm infantry.

In addition, Fighting 15s has received restocks of the 15mm SF range. Unfortunately, after fulfilling all back-orders for SF-1501 New Vistula Legion troopers, this item is again out of stock, and new stock will not be in the UK until about mid-February.

Fighting 15s now has Eureka Miniatures’ 28mm 1960s to 1980s US troopers in MOPP gear in stock. Our initial stocks are limited, and the range is available in the online shop.

In January 2012 only, UK customers can benefit from free standard delivery on orders of over £50.00 inc tax in item value. All orders sent by free standard delivery will usually only be dispatched when all the items are in stock. The discount ends at midnight on 31 January 2012. UK Special Delivery is still available at cost.

The break points for automatic discounts based on order value have changed. Break point values are based on the order sub-total (ex tax, ex delivery) and occur at £100, £200, £400, £600 and £800. The discount at each break point is 2%, and the maximum discount is therefore 10%.

In addition, a number of customers who supported us during a fairly bleak 2011 now have coupons for a 5% loyalty discount. The conditions for qualifying for this discount are outlined in previous news items.

Unfortunately, our delivery of 15mm SF from Oddzial Osmy of Poland has not yet arrived, and Fighting 15s regrets that customers that are waiting for these figures will probably not get them before Christmas. Sorry: they were expected to be here by now.
